Yet,aprofessor’sworkismorethanresearch.Infact,themostpublicpartofourjobsisteachingundergraduatestudents.Thisyear,inspiteofthegreatdistancefromCanadatoTaiwan,Iwasabletofulfillalong-helddream:toteachindigenousstudiesinTaiwanwiththesameindigenousknowledgeholderswhohavesogenerouslynourishedmyresearchforsolong.
